Half-Life 3 artwork produced by Valve has been revealed online, suggesting how the FPS sequel to Half-Life 2 might have looked had it ever made it to Steam

What will be crazy if it does come out is the huge amount of gamers that would have never heard of Half Life at all, it being released in 2004 there could be a massive resurgence in young gamers! Don't know how they'd get through the hoverboat level of HL2 with the state of attention spans these days though

It would be amazing, Valve can then remaster the original games with Source 3 and bundle a STEAM deal alongside HL3.

It will make billions.

Project Borealis: Prologue is a fan-made game which expands on the classic episodic series by Valve Software. Return to a snow covered Ravenholm and experience the iconic town reimagined in an arctic atmosphere and modern graphics.

Interestingly this is running on unreal engine 5, supports all the upscalers and frame gen!

It's very short but there are a few areas that can be explored, no idea what the green bits are for, I have half the achievements to do still so will go back and check those out.

Like it though, just need a HL2 mod in UE 5.4.4 and that would be amazing

The dev also confirmed that it's software Lumen and they tweaked UE5.4.4 so you don't see the usual UE Lumen artefacting. A Dev Deep Dive docu is due soon discussing technical details. The full Borealis mod should be rather excellent.
