Halo 2 to be vista only

I dont get why people like Halo, its pretty inferior compared to other fps games.
Halo 2 wont be a big seller for the PC market i bet, and having it on vista only can only make it worse.

Sp1 is really a time frame for me for how long vista been out and stuff ironed out plus support for it with games,if a lot of games are out just before sp1 then i get it aslong they better on vista.

I may be wrong, but I'm sure I read somewhere that Halo2 is gonna be dx9, not dx10 - that's not the reason it is Vista only.

I also read something about having to pay to play it's multiplayer mode?!

Bottomline is however, that it's probably not going to be anything special as far as PC FPS go anyway. I was somewhat underwhelmed by Halo after all the hype, so I shan't miss this greatly. Might look at it sometime in the future once it's dropped in price if I ever decide to buy Vista.

You are kidding right? There will be nothing in that game that could n't run on XP if they wanted it to.

Its purely MS trying to get gamers to jump ship from XP to Vista. Everyone knows thats the case.

They should package Vista Home Premium with the ¨deluxe edition¨ of Halo 2.

Only £75 extra and you get to play the game

Actually, how much would a preowned Xbox 1 and Halo 2 cost these days....

yes just read in PC Zone that its going to be 39.99 a year for the gold version of windows live for the PC

It's pretty much the same as xbox live with the gamertag thing.

Silver is free.
Gold is £39.99 and all it adds in being able to play against x-box users. So it's not worth it, as either they need aim bots or they'll get slaughtered by pc players.
