HALO 3 Official Thread

It's a nice touch that if you form a party of 3 and do ranked team slayer etc it matches you with an equal sized opposition.
 
Who has 1000/1000? Ive got 990GP's out of it so far. I need 2 achievements which are proving incredibly painful to get: triple with sword on ranked FFA and an overkill on ranked FFA. I have heard of achievement matches going on but never actually come across one :( I want that marathon helmet!!
 
how do you pick up different grenades ? ie the spiky ones or blue ones ?

it alway seems hit and miss for me .. normally I chuck the normal grenades and then sometimes if I've been lucky and picked some of the others up I have those left

but anyway of selecting - and how do you know what you are next about to chuck please ?

Heh, you automatically pick up all grenades, you just have to select which ones you're throwing by pressing the left bumper, this cycles through the 4 availible types of grenade, you can see which one is currently selected on the top left of your HUD there are 4 seperate icons and one will have a box around it.

just downloaded a load of the "best" rated and most interesting looking user made custom tweaked games - so may host later if people are interested in playing any of them ?

might be, depends if i'm doing anything else, but will probably be 9/10ish as I'm going to try wirelessing my xbox with a fon router :)
