OMG!

Its not original! it must be rubbish!

I think they have opened up the levels and generally made it on a more epic scale i.e. theres one single battle in the game that has more enemies in it than the whole of the first level of Halo.

You know how it plays, you know how it feels, it just feels a little fresher and looks a little nicer.

None of you were hoping for something more then? It's the last one in the series isn't it...maybe going out with a bang would be nice? :)

I think the co-op stuff will be very good, but a shame if it's just the same thing again.
 
Well from the beta alone it's definitely different from the first 2 and great fun online. Of course people will always ***** and moan for any reason, "oh it's different", "oh it's the same".

True. But wouldn't you have preferred them to really push the boat out for this one? Or would you not like them to take any risks?

I wasnt, for single player I'm eagerly awaiting to finish the fight and dick to around some in co-op. For multi-player I'm after a more balanced, more polished game with some new maps. If it aint broken don't try to fix it :)

Anyway its supposedly last in this story arc, I doubt MS would kill off their best selling game series. Bungie said that they wouldnt rule out the possibilty of another Halo game, just that it will not be based around Spartan 117 'Master Chief'

Hell they could even concentrate on a Multi-player only sequel since thats what everyone says they play the game for.
 
Oh well not bothered about the campaign, only want the multiplayer which was by far the best game online for the last gen of consoles. (Well, besides Ghost Recon 1 and Rainbow Six 3 which died) :cool:
 
Never really 'got into' Halo tbh, it never struck me as being anything worth raving about.

Will have to see if 3 changes my mind though...

I used to be liek that until I stopped listening to all the hype and BS flying around and just played it for what it was.
 
I don't know if 'same old same old' is good for me. Never been overly impressed with Halo but will no doubt give this a go. :/
