DAB reception here is poor, And the LED lights kill it off altogether. At least I can get some stations on FM, though only a handful and it is very noisy

Downside of LEDs is the fact that they don't frazzle moths - I've been chasing them all over the house!

They shouldn't do that and aren't the case for the majority of LED bulbs out there. What Chinese crap are you using?
Like I said, DAB barely works here at all anyway (To be fair, In hindsight I dont think it ever worked particularly in the Kitchen, so the LED criticism regarding it is a bit of a red herring). Hence the reliance on FM.
Many LED lights generate a lot of RF rubbish throughout the spectrum, it's often the PSUs rather than the bulbs themselves though. I replaced my halogen security floodlight last year with a decent branded LED one and it killed HF for me when it was lit. I returned it and slapped another halogen one outside.
I look forward to us opening those coal mines again up north, they only killed a few people a year didn't they?

It won't be as dangerous this time around, smaller people will have a much easier time escaping cave ins through tiny little gaps, and as the entire adult population will required to work on negotiating new trade deals it will be the kids who get sent into the pit. Problem solved

I bought some g led bulbs but if if move my hand quickly it it has trails or strobe like look. Is this a quirk with led?

Just use a 100w heater.Getting light bulbs for my biltong box just got a lot more difficult
Got nothing to do with saving us money and everything to do with meeting arbitrary environmental targets.
