Hi. as some of you may know. i have found a new job and i am planning to resign.
The problem is my boss is in the other office 300+miles away from the office i work in.
Shall i email him a scanned copy of my resignation letter thats signed and then post the hardcopy by post?
Should i call him and tell him from the phone before emailing him?
Quick update:
Chatted to my boss on the phone and sounds like he is gutted that i want to leave. said for me to think about it. He said he liked my honesty on why i want to leave. Said that the boss higher up might call me.
He also said all i need to do is email him and the other guy and they will notify HR and get the ball rolling
Didd people even read my OP lol?
Tell me, how can i leave it on his desk all the way in scotland when i work in the london office lol
And now you've missed that he's already spoken to him on the phone and been told they don't need a hard copy.i skim read and missed that bit.
