Hangovers. why some do and why some don't?

Some people do, some don't. It's gay.

I get really bad hangovers if I don't use my prevention (8-10 pints of water chugged before bed, sometimes add multivits and such to the mix). If I go out and get steaming and don't do that, I won't be able to stand up without vomiting the next day usually. Which is a nightmare if I have work or something.

Last time I got so drunk I couldn't intake water because I was too far gone, I had a reel big fish gig the next day, I couldn't do anything during the day, off sick from work etc. couldn't keep food down so the egg and vitamin cure was out. It took me 6 attempts at hair of the dog about 2 oclock before I kept it down, vodka redbull. I then hopped in a car to a gig in birmingham, preceeded to get monumentally drunk again, fell asleep in the car back and literally crawled into my front door I felt so bad. It was messy, I'm not gonna lie. :D

1 pint of water is never enough, maybe it's because i'm a big lad, I dunno.

Do you really drink 8-10 pints of water before bed? It seems pretty unlikely that you would/could.

Pint or two of water + toast/noodles = win :D

Well thats what i find. The last time I forgot to do this the day after was a write off, with the mother of all headaches :(

I usually think about drinking some water before bed, forget in my drunken stupor, stumble upstairs and pass out somewhere near my bed hopefully. I then normally wake up about 5am, mouth feels like i've been chewing on sand all night and my brains have been scooped out. Think about getting a drink, but in too much pain and can't be bothered... so fall asleep again until about 4pm. I never learn!

Water, water, water before bed.

Water, salt and sugar in the morning (Fry up!).

I can count on one hand the hangovers I've had, usually Tequilla or Port realted.

It is unlikely. He'd be ******* himself best case, worse case water intoxication.

If i drank that much water before bed after a heavy drinking session i'd wake up in a pool of my own urine.

3 pints of water before bed is the key. You may end up feeling slightly tired at worst the next morning, but not unable to operate.

Remember folks alcohol dehydrates!

It depends what I drink, as to whether I get a hangover or not. I'm still working it out, but so far mixing drinks = bad (beer and wine especially). Red wine = bad. White wine not so bad. Beer ok. Stella = very bad. Was quite heavy on rum the other day and it was fine. No idea why.
