the prices on 2TB drives seem stubbornly high - any view on when we might expect a downward trend - surely the recovery from the thai flooding must be almost there ?

I paid £103 each for some 3TB drives the other day, £145 for a load of 4TB ones the week before. At a glance 2TB disks start at about £75.

Seems okay.

Thats a decent price you paid for the 4Tb IMO.

Reading this link below, we are being screwed. prices are being kept artificially high in my opinion.
