Hi there,

I am facing a problem with my hard disk. To be more specific sometimes, when I open a file which is on that hard disk, it delays to open and I can listen though the hard disk when starts. Also, sometimes when I start up the computer, it says that "hard disk does not found". Another thing, is that on the bottom bar as notification says that the graphic's card drivers are missing and I am sure that I installed them a month ago when I formatted the computer.
Which part of the computer may be faulty? (motherboard, graphic card, hard disk, or ram?)
ANY IDEAS WOULD BE MORE THAN WELCOME.
Thank you in advance

The check disk is to see if there is a problem with the drive, as people have suggested this is the problem. If the drive seems to be fine, maybe that will narrow down where the problem can be.

If it's a recurring problem that's carried on through more than one Windows installation, why bother running chkdsk? Just download the manufacturer's diagnostics suite [eg) Seatools] and run that. It sounds as if the hard drive is on the way out to be honest.

What drive do you have?

I'm not sure what the western digital diagnostic suite is. But I'd find that on their site and run it. And start shopping for a new drive to be honest.
