Hi i have a Maxtor Diamondmax 21 320GB SATA Hard Drive somehow last time i pulled the sata cable out of my hard drive the piece which surrounds the pins came out with it and now the SATA i s hanging on by then end of its thread but is still working i would like to know is this repairable or not i will post a picture of my Hard Drive so i can show you exactly what i mean thanks Ross

It'll be repairable but I very much doubt it's something that Maxtor would do under warranty. As a result it's likely that it won't be an economic repair so the best option may be to buy another drive and shift everything across.
