Hard Drive Problem

I have 2 Raptors, and at the moment I have one set as master, the other as my slave (backup). But when I connect them I have an error message "NTLDR is missing".

I only have this when the Slave is connected to my system. Both of them have been working great upto today :confused:

change the boot order in your bios, it's trying to boot from your slave instead of your master!!

The only options I can select is this:

Hard Drive
Removable
CD ROM
Network
Disabled

I have those first 3 in that order :confused:

I have a DFL Lan Party UT mobo. My master HDD is on Sata 1 & the Slave is on Sata 3

weird. what if you connect them the other way around? (master on sata3 and slave on sata1) ?

i think for some reason it is loading the master boot record (mbr) on your 2nd drive, which is then trying to load the active partition on your 2nd drive, which doesn't have an OS so fails.
