Hard Reset (PC exclusive) - Thread

The games a joy to play mainly down to the controls, so smooth a precise with the mouse, this and high quality textures and effects make this truly stand out as a PC exclusive , my God the PC needs more exclusive titles.

Even Raven has nothing to moan about.

Hard reset for GOTY for that alone.
 
Is it just me or are they subtly trolling modern shooters?

"Yeah you can only have two weapons because thats realistic right? But what about if these weapons can become 5 different weapons each?"

"Oh whats that you want to reload? Here have a handy arrow to show you where to go as you are clearly brain dead"

Or atleast thats how I see it.

Either way its awesome.
 
Anyone who pirates this game has no excuse whatsoever for doing so.

1)Demo out before the game so you can see if it will run on your PC
2)There's no DRM. (Anyone one who classes Steam as DRM is a fool.)
3)It's £10-£20 cheaper than a normal release.

I think I'm going to buy it before I read any reviews.

I've played the demo twice and loved it.

The developers have created a great game for the most powerful gaming platform, they've avoided all the pitfalls that PC gamers normally be moan about game releases today and it's a good game.

It's almost as if they've listened to PC gamers and made a game just for us.

They deserve to be applauded and more importantly supported.

Agree totally on all points. This game should be highly praised and rewarded with lots of money. I love the mouse based in-game menus for upgrades or throwing switches. Saves having to press Enter which so many game companies dont seem to realise is nowhere near either of my hands.
 
Nice demo. Had my eye on this already but may just be getting it. The demo felt a little short but then i was getting into it when it ended :)

Love that lighning gun effect.
 
It doesn't how much praise the game will get and how forgiving you want pirates to be, pirates will still pirate it
 
Demo was awesome, n the video at the end.. showing off future enemies etc.. :O the scale of some of them looked amazing! really looking forward to its release now
