Yeah still going strong now although he plays stuff I really don't like anymore.

But the old tapes i got from them two back in the day, their mixing was always terrible. Didnt care though, was always about the tunes.

was too young and missed the "rave scene" love some of the old tracks though

human resource - dominator

I used to be well into it from '95 through to '00, though after '97 it just became a place to be seen and the atmosphere had changed at the big events.

I was mainly there for the DnB back then and used to get to Helter Skelter, slamin vinyl, Heat, Fever, World Dance and many many more that I forget for one reason or another :D

christ...I had groups of friends in every scene when growing up...and I have to admit I snuk into rez once...and only once.

was always more of a dnb head myself if I were in the mood for some doofa.

Brisk and Ham - Angel Eyes
Scott Brown - All about you

Wouldnt really class this as hardcore?

Sorry, I missed the point. I took Hardcore to mean getting so off one's face that one didn't surface for a week.

Instead you mean bouncing from one foot to the other, along to "We-are-the-children-of-the-night..." and all that crap.

I have decided to compile a list of what i think are some of the greatest hardcore tracks ever.

1. Scott Brown-Neckbreaker
2. Scott Brown-This is how we do it
3. Brisk and Ham-Angels eyes
4. Eclipse-24/7
5. Hixxy-Sacrafice
6. Joey Riot ft. Technotrance-Together Again (Sy&Unknown remix)
7. Darren Styles-Save Me
8. Darren Styles-Come Running
9. Hixxy-Your Shining
10. Scott Brown-Goodbye my friend

Enjoy. :D

Haha, I was listening to happy hardcore when I was reading this thread and I've got this song and know what you mean; now I've still got a week odd til I'm 18 but I know when I'll be out properly I don't want some cheap immitations.

I'm hoping Leeds can show me a good night out; with some raves and a bit of DnB...I just don't know where yet. :p

Suprised nobody has mentioned Egyptian Empire - The Horn Track :D one of my all time faves along with Mickey Finn - Some Justice

Aah - the good old times at Milwaukee's 'The fun house' (on the A6 out of Bedford....been knocked down now though :( )

DJ Rap was cute as :D :D

Another big Hardcore/Rave/Old Skool fan. Too young to have been there sadly, wish I could have attended the Sanctuary in its prime. Some decent tunes from the early 90's:

Zero B- Lock Up
Praga Khan- Injected With A Poison
Liquid- Sweet Harmony
Dj Seduction- Hardcore Heaven
Awesome 3- Don't Go
Sonz Of A Loop Da Loop Era- Far Out
Dj Pc- Inssomniak
Anything Altern 8

This is obviously going back a few years and a lot has happened musically since then, but it's when the Rave scene was at its peak/purest.

Jesus - that brings back the memories and yes, I AM showing my age!!
Used to go to all the Exodus warehouse raves before they got a touch big - nothing like 200 or so people dancing around without a care in the world :D

Wonder how much all my 12's are worth now - had enought to do a night ;)

I still hate MC's though - couldnt stand working with them chatting rubbish most of the night

Ive had a few beers in Mancheaster with Grooverider, really nice chap and not a tit like most people think he is

It was because of DJ Rap that I spent 2 hours in the same room as 3,000 black cockneys.
