It was because of DJ Rap that I spent 2 hours in the same room as 3,000 black cockneys.

The thing I liked about Milwaukee's is that a) it was pretty damn small b) it had a wicked soundsystem and c) the DJ was in the same room, same level etc so you could pop up and say hello, oggle :D etc

I need to get a loan of a set of 1210's and get up into the loft now

I used to go to Rez/Fubar/Nosebleed back in 94-96, loved it. :)

I hate the stuff that's made nowadays though, just sounds like sped up trancey pop-music. Raverbaby etc. :/

Love the old stuff personally.

Andy C - Roll On
Omni Trio - Soul Promenade

Alll the older RAM/MS/MH stuff.

Stuff when hardcore was on the way out, and Jungle was getting bigger.

Alas where i live there are no real dedicated DnB/Jungle raves, so i never really get to attend, also im 18 in 2 weeks, so i dont really want to travel to get ID'ed and such.
Even though im pretty young i can remember hearing this music being played, always enjoyed electronic based music from an early age and can appreciate it a lot.

Although i shall be attending Rebirth, maybe Innovation, and also maybe Global Gathering this summer :)

I only wish i was around to see a "true" rave. One of the pleasures in life i know will never happen now.

Loved my Techno when I was in school, specialy the likes of clarke. The Producer, Scorpio all the usual suspects, Used to buy the old helter skelter tape packs, where my friends went for the Happy Hardcore side of things, I bought the techno tape backs, Listening to loftgroover and HMS hitting about 300bpm, mental :D, now I sort of listen to the new hardcore some good some bad really. wish somtimes I still had my tape packs.
