Harddrives...How many you running and for what purpose??

Hi,

Im looking to upgrade my drives. I currently have a RAID 0 setup and will probably do the same again with larger/faster drives. I dont know whether to use my current RAID 0 configuration as a 240Gb page file or summat or have just windows on it???

Keen to see what people are using thier drives for? In terms of raid, partitions, cache, page files etc. N dont just say porn lol.

2x36GB Raptors in RAID 0
1x 250GB WD for storage. That'll be upgraded soon I'm running out of space. I also need to get a backup volume *sigh*

2x 500GB Seagates in RAID 1 40GB Windows partition / rest for storage, and a 300GB Seagate for storage too. I want a 2.5" external storage for important data backup though.

Wanted the RAID 1 incase a hdd fails and I cba to reinstall all my stuff

1 x Samsung 320GB SATA2 16MB Cache drive, partitioned into 3 (windows, games, media). Fast, quiet and plenty of space

2x 150GB Raptors in RAID 1. 1x western digital 320gb for data etc. 1x seagate 2.5" for backup of documents etc.

36GB Raptor: Windows

200GB Seagate 7200.7: 2 partitions for documents and downloads

320GB Seagate 7200.10: Videos from camcorder and backup photos + docs

500GB Western Digital AAKS: 2 partitions for programs and backups (Windows image and other backup images)

Also want to get a 120GB (or possibly 160GB) 2.5" drive to have in an external enclosure to carry round all my stuff and keep all important docs backed up on.

4x Fujitsu MAX3073NP (SCSI u320 15k RPM) in RAID-0 for ~280GB.
logical drive 1 : 8GB partition for Windows XP (fast/easy to restore from a backup image

)
logical drive 2 : 100MB ext2 boot partition (various kernels/initrds), 50GB linux LVM2 with Gentoo x86-64 and Ubuntu feisty fawn.
logical drive 3 : rest as one NTFS partition for Windows apps/games

2x 500GB Western Digital WD5000YS in RAID-1
one large NTFS partition for work/backups/music

no pagefile/swap

2xWD2500KS in RAID0 for Vista64, Games and Ramdisk images. Also my media collection.
1xWD5000AAKS for Storage and stuff I just cannot lose!
6gb Ramdisk for those all important games
8gb iram array for page file and games.
WD1200JB IDE for storage.
