Hardest Boss

Just finished dead space 2 and the final boss took me 3x1hour sessions to defeat ! nightmare !
I cant think the last time a final boss level nearly defeated me !
Anyone else got tough final bosses that beat or nearly beat them

The Weapons from FFVII. And probably the first time i played it, it took me a few attempts to beat Dyne(and hes really early!)

Also the bandit leader in Baldur's Gate was frustrating as I took him on a bit early when i wasn't 100% used to the game.

Generally i can't be arsed with bosses though, if one is too tough i just drop the difficulty..... or quit. I don't like grinding games, i just play for fun.

Flying boss on level 2 of Gremlins on the original Gameboy. Never did manage to beat him!

I always used to get burnt by that, my guild were doing an undying run and was going to leave me outside for that boss

I just had 2 healers focus me instead!

Not sure what the hardest boss I've ever done in a game would be but the most tedious is probably the tyrant on a plane boss in resident evil code veronica. Seriously poorly coded encounter.

If it absolutely had to choose something on the PC it would be one of the many bosses on world of warcraft simply because of the amount of teamwork and planning some of them took, before you even took internet connections and PC hardware into consideration.
