As title really whats the hardest thing you have ever had to do I am sorry if this is a repeat thread. :D
For me? ermm I will think and pop it on the thread in a while. :)

To decide, beyond any doubt that my wife was the woman for me, and be damned with any consequences. Half the world away and back, and thinsg worked out better than expected, no consequences, everyone feel into line, and the world is a good place.
Was expecting one or both families to tear apart, but it didn't happen.

I'd have to say it was deciding to leave the job I had been in for 11 years caring for a very physically disabled child. I'd done it since the age of 18, and was physically and mentally exhausted. It was wonderful, but slowly breaking me (literally in the case of my knee) at the same time.

It was the hardest but best decision I could make. I had put him first for 11 years, never had more than a week away from him at a time in those 11 years, and I realised it was time to put me first. I sacrificed a lot, I don't resent that for a second, but I felt he had had enough of me, and it was time for me to be number 1 again.

Still love him to bits (he's 17 in a few months) but leaving 3 and a half years ago was for the best.

That must have been a awful position to be in. :)

It was nearly 6 years ago now,not going to tell you the story as there is a thread on it from last year.

It was a horable situation to be in and wouldn't wish it on anyone.

So glad we made the right choice as she is my world and has grown up to be a very loving and pleasant little girl :)

Signing the consent papers for my son to have his brain op when he was 1 which he may not have made it (how nearly 3) :( had to sign the papers at Great Ormond Street as he suffers from arnold chiari malformation, but its has been the best thing to ever happen to me and my wife as he is coming on leaps and bounds since and only has to have an MRI every 6 months now.

Was very hard to sign the papers tho.
