hardrive dieing

my hd making a lot of noise when on net.and when i start computer it makes loads of beeps before it starts . so i think it is dieing

Then back up any data you don't want to lose.

then i suggest backing up all of your important data and either buy a replacement, get it replaced under warrantee (if it has any of course) or just wait for the inevitable moment.

I have an old seagate barracuda 250gb SATA I which i believe is on the way out. the access noises are astronomical. it is currently in a jiffy bag on my chest of drawers
