Hardrive Error On Boot - S.M.A.R.T. Capable But Command Failed

Its a Samsung 320GB F1 only had it a few days and after my pc has been off for a few hours and i boot up i get this message:

I ran the quick error scan on hdtune but came back fine so in the process of doing the longer scan.

If the longer scan comes back good which do i believe the error on boot or hdtune saying its ok?

The hour long scan didnt come back with any faults,i ran the smart check on speedfan aswell and that came back fine.

Have you tried running Samsung's HDD tester? That will pick up any SMART errors with the drive. If SMART is failing then the drive is possibly on the way out.

I tried running some samsung program last week on another drive (prior to selling it) but couldnt get the program to run in vista64.

Ive booted up a few times since last night and havent had the error come up today.

I dont have a floppy drive so just tried the hutil iso for cdroms but get this error when trying to run it:

Er you need to boot the CDROM!

Extract that - Then use NERO or something else to Burn the ISO image.

Hmm have you only got one CDROM/DVD drive?

**EDIT** I see you have 2 CD/DVD drives so does it do it in both? It could be because its a SATA CD/DVD drive

Is your PC overclocked?

I take it you don't have a IDE CDROM/DVD?

That util probably hasnt got drivers for SATA drives for the CDROM.
