The Specialized Rockhopper SL Pro is also above £1k so not purchasable via the C2W scheme.
The pro is above but the SL Expert comes £50 under the limit.

I've heard that if you get a Boardman bike you're best off ordering it from the Halfords website as that way it'll be built by people who know what they're doing. Otherwise the in-store mechanic who builds it for you might do a botch job![]()
I picked my bike up last night. Whilst waiting, 3 people were told NO we can't go above £1k, not even by £30. Looks like I was lucky.

. Lack of sleep may have been involved
.last year, when i bought my Rockhopper SL 2010 on the C2W i was able to top up the amount i applied for with cash of my own
so i paid £600 on the C2W and topped up with £100 of my own (to keep my monthly payments below £30)
perhaps something to consider?
What is the difference between the team and the race? Not really a Hardtail or under £1000(still nice though)

What is the difference between the team and the race?
Also what size frame would people recommend for someone who's 6' 3" ?
That seems like quite a bit better for an extra £90. Looks like the breaks are better too. DamnThe fork, front mech, and shifters are all one level better on the Race I think. The Race has a Reba fork, XT front mech and SLX shifters while the Team has a Recon fork, SLX front mech and Deore shifters.

Topping up isn't allowed under the C2W scheme as it causes issues over ownership of the bike (remember you don't actually own it - you are leasing it)

well i managed it, i'm afraid - so others can too - and i was perfectly within my rights to do so
it's highly likely the company will take the bike back off me, don't you think?![]()
Where did you get it from?well i managed it, i'm afraid - so others can too
