Harry Hill...

Well the recent credits say he is the writer, they wouldn't lie.

Maybe that is out of date?

Well Paul Hawksbee is still writing for it as he mentions how painfull watching 3 striaght hours of Emmerdale a week for material is almost every week.

I saw him live in Hanley a few years back - absolutely hilarious. Started with a big screen 15min show based around the tely stuff he was doing at the time - badger parade et al. This was good but I was worried I wasn't going to see the chap in person. Never fear, the rest of the show was very lively and in person.

I cannot see a tube of SAVLON without smiling even now.

& yes I - Like the lining.

So he does write some... bit different to "he doesn't write it" eh? ;)

Depends how you look at it, i was under the impression he had a team of writers, and he does, and therefore he doesnt "write it".
He does however write "some of it", so he contributes some material.
Given that there are three other writers, i would suggest he "contributes ideas" and fronts the show, because his own material might be a little over the heads or indeed just the wrong kind of funny, for a 5.35 saterday afternoon show.

Whatever, its irrelevant in the grand scheme of things.

I've seen the guy live twice now on the last two tours and they have been great.
Was first introduced to him when he was first making some TV appearances by my fiancee.
Took a little getting used to but now I can't miss anything he does on TV and I'm always looking forward to his next tour.
Place him and the Pub Landlord on the same bill and I'd literally die laughing.

Don't find him funny at all. Tried to watch him on that blurp program plus stand up. Really does make me cringe watching him.

Another good episode - why oh why have we only got a 10 week run.
It should be ongoing, it is the Readers Digest guide to the week's television.

"Hay - I ordered extra chicken on my pizza"
