Harry Redknapp gone

Expect its probably down to the contract thing partly, Redknapp's whining about it, and him always being in the owners ear for money every 5 seconds.

Wow. Unbelievable few months for Redknapp, at one point he was favorite for the England job, now he doesn't have one at all..

Spurs have spent a lot of money and haven't achieved the success that this money should have brought, therefore the manager is naturally going to be the first one to be blamed. I personally would have given him one more year, if it hadn't of been for Capello resigning then Spurs would have almost certainly finished 3rd.

Apparently Spurs want to go in another direction..... I know they fell apart last season but seriously Levy needs to realise without a massive cash injection what Arry has done is the best Spurs can hope for

For a more competitive league, good, for Arsenal, not so good.

Spurs had a better squad than Redknapp used last year, he wasted a large portion of the squad, misused first team players constantly and threw away a VERY comfortable third with basically pure stupidity. Getting shot of Pienaar rather than using him, bringing in Saha and the blackburn CB. Redknapp won't win anything big with his lack of deciding to use tactics, massively inflating a clubs wage bill and rarely getting non performing players back to form.

He's not a long term manager, he went what, 3 months without being able to change Spurs performances, pick them up or go on a run. He could have had a bad month, dropped loads of points, turned it around and still comfortably finish in 3rd above Arsenal. That 20-25mil almost certain and the draw of the champs league could have been the difference between keeping players, bringing in a level of quality of new players and putting in a stronger performance towards top 4 for next season. He screwed up royally.

I think the current squad should be doing better, and most of his signings simply aren't very good, he's tactically inept and not at all a top manager. For sustained or semi consistent top four Redknapp isn't close to the manager Spurs need.

Will wait to see some proof on this. Only thing I've seen is that Levy is offering a 12 month rolling contract (sensible) and Redknapp wants a long term one (dreaming), but that doesn't mean he's been sacked or left, yet.

SSN reporting unnamed players they've spoken to are devastated Arry's leaving.... I suspect those players aren't Jenas, Bentley or dos Santos :p

The managerial merry-go-round continues - Spurs to appoint Hodgson after he gets sacked when England go out on penalties in the quarter-finals :p

this is typical bleedin spurs this is. who's going to sign for us now? remy was impressed with redknapp so that's shot!

key players have spoken on their respect for redknapp. manu now wont sign for us, VDV will be unsettled. modric will now push for a move, bale should be ok but still unsettled.

levy and redknapp had a strange relationship but levy has the final say in things. i just hope he has a plan.

i hope sherwood, ferdinand and allen stay, i'm sure they did most of the important stuff anyway.

That doesn't say he's left.
No, but look at the time on the report, it says 9:55pm today. That's where the rumour mill appears to be drawing its' inspiration from. What are they saying on Sky Sports News channel? that's usually more up to date than the website.

Premier League is now going to be very interesting next season, a lot of new faces both on the field and in the dug outs

New Managers;
