Has anyone been caught doing 85mph in a 60 limit?

I got done for speed dangerous and lost my license for six months (plus £300 fine) for doing 74mph in 35mph limit..

Thats a bit silly. as in you doing that speed in a 35 limit, (didnt know there were 35mph limits ) but anyways i dont know the road you were on or such so canna come out with the people may walk out and such lecture lol.


I got done for doing 36mph in a 30mph zone, which was a country lane late at night. Some Coppers jumped out of a bush and waved me in.


Didnt have docs on me, so they also gave me a producer.

I went into high wycombe police station and the wpc on the counter at the time told me to contest it, as 36 in a 30 in the middle of no where was a bit harsh lol so instead of 3 points and £30 fine at the time i ended up with 3 points and a £60 fine lol shouldnt have listened to her.

I was in my friends car and he was doing 100 on a 70 road. Got flashed but got nothing through the post... lucky ****

If its a single cop in a car parked at the side of the road with a gun, can you get something through the post if you were speeding? I went past doing around 45 to 50 (on speedo) in a 40. Fair do's if I do get something, it certainly gave me a fright and wont be doing it again as i need my license for my job.

I cant see you getting a ban, years ago I got caught doing 90 in a 60. it was on a stunning road in the scotish countryside on my bike.

Becuase it was in Scotland it went to the local police who made a decision. £250 fine and 6 points was the end result.
