Has anyone else not had the 2004 update yet ?

Lenovo are still only offering a 2015 Conexant driver for my yoga 13 laptop - so still has a bar on going to 2004 or 20H2!

Sent a query to Lenovo Service Desk who said that the 2015 driver is the latest driver offered by Lenovo and (effectively) if I want a more up to date one because of Windows then get in touch with Microsoft. SO i suspect this is as far as I will be able to update with my Yoga.

Version 1909 is apparently supported to May 2021, so after 6 months becomes "out of support" (a security risk?).

conversely, i'd heard that ISO was the way to go, for people like me on 1909 and needing 3.5gig of download. needless to say i'm sticking w/ 1909 for the foreseeable!

I only recently updated to 2004 just before 20H2 came out. I'm sticking with it.

To be honest, there is nothing extra that I use. For me these feature updates are a waste of time. All it brings is the chance of something going wrong in the upgrade.

I have a Lenovo yoga 13 (2014 vintage)and this had a 2015 Conexant sound driver. MS appears to have stopped the May / October upgrades because of this - apparently as there is no specific warning.

I found a Sept 2019 driver (10.0.18362.356) for another Lenovo laptop and tried installing that. It installed and shows as the driver in device manager but the updates are still barred as "not yet ready for my device". Getting frustrating this is!

Well I eventually found the Lenovo Conexant driver designed to allow Win 10 v2004 update - Version 8.66.89.50

Date - July 7 2020. (i.e. V2004 Win 10 update)
CHANGES IN THIS RELEASE - Nothing.
New functions or enhancements] - Nothing.
Problem fixes - safe guard driver update for blocking issue during OS upgrade.

Only problem is it wont install on my laptop! - says it has but hasn't. Perhaps I need to remove the existing driver completely - bit scary though - might lose all sound?
