Has anyone else noticed this?

I live by the mantra..

"It's better for people to think you're an idiot than to open your mouth and prove it".

Of course, there's a fine line between keeping quiet and looking like a deaf mute :p

Its rare to meet people that want to engage in any sort of intellectual discussion in person. Online I can find people like that, but in person. Its very rare. Most of the time people don't care about anything significant and just want to talk about nothing. I even met someone that hates small talk but also hates intellectual discussion. I was not too sure on what he would ever talk about then.

You being engaged in an intellectual discussion is akin to the sound of one hand clapping alone in a forest

Wasn't very nice was it? Is it because i is white?

Maybe i hit a sensitive topic for you as maybe you could relate to the fact that you are so brain dead and worthless personality wise that you had to insult me to make yourself feel better about your own pathetic-ness.

I had a colleague in my last place of work who was a genuine pleasure to talk to. He had theories and observations that nobody could keep up with. Everything he said was either profound on some level, funny or intellectual. It was as if he'd been studying what he was going to say at that moment for years, and it just rolled off his tongue every time.

Most people in the office disliked him from this point of view because to them, he was obnoxious and confusing. This wasn’t true. He wasn't either, in fact he was fascinating and intriguing (no homo, he wouldn't have it). Sure, I had trouble keeping up with him in conversation, but when I lost the direction I'd just listen anyway.

Never even see you before, your input is so pathetic that i have never even noticed you on this forum and you have made 7000 comments. lol

You're not the first person to notice this, pepsilol. The astute observer of the human condition, Eminem, once commented;

Nowadays everybody wanna talk like they got somethin to say
But nothin comes out when they move their lips; just a bunch of gibberish
And ******** act like they forgot about Dre

Did his poignant lyrics prompt you to post this today?

what i hate is the fake BS science in marketing

"our specially designed bacteria to help digestion" :mad:

technically its not BS. If something is making a claim to have some kind of medical efficay or positive effect on normal human funciton it has to be backed up with some kind of data. Companies can't just print BS promo material in this field and pump it out or their CEO's will be smashing rocks in the hot sun.

However it is embelishment of a simple truth to help sell stuff.
