Has Anyone Got BT TV?

I have it and overall I could live without it tbh. But since I have phone and broadband with them the tv costs very little. On its own it's not that much more than Freeview (assuming you use Netflix, Prime, Now, etc. one ot more of these).

At the moment I have Sky + Amazon Prime. Prime isn't costing me anything but I'm finding with both of those plus Netflix (which I cancelled last month) I'm just not getting the most out of all the services and end up falling far behind on series or just giving up entirely. My thinking is that the BT TV box and NowTV would give me everything Sky gives me (for less than I currently pay), but with the option to cancel Now TV for a month or two now and again to catch up on stuff on Prime or Netflix. Plus I get a newer, fancier box as well as the ability to record more than one channel at a time (I only have one sat feed into my flat).

Dunno, it's just a thought at this point!

Well I had Sky for over 10 years and I got fed up of doing the yearly discount merry go round plus they wouldn't even offer me a new Sky box as mine was quite old (heavily modded though ;) as in modifications not of the immoral kind). Without doing the cancel shuffle they wanted £87. I already have BT Infinity 2 and BT TV at same time as Sky with two boxes so I cancelled Sky. Went with Now TV for the Sky I want to watch and never looked back. If you shop arround you can get the vouchers dirt cheap, eg 6 months entertainment for £15 and they have the odd offer too such as the Movies for £1 etc. Sky Sports for £3 a day or £6 a week or even £25 a month.

Its basically an enhanced Freeview. The BT Player is carp I never use that and watch the odd footy match in UHD but having an integrated Netflix player is very handy. To be honest you could probably make do with just a Youview box and Now TV.
