I should know how it ran when I tried it. Here's a video of someone running it maxed out on a 680:
Sorry, but that looks really jerky to me, every movement is a stuttering mess, i would even call that unplayable....

Hopefully AMD are teaching them how to use tessellation and water![]()

@Andy,
I hope your wrong, but I know it will probably be the usual case of-Your high end dual card setup can't handle it@1080p so you better invest in the next greatest gpu or two that appears.
Shame if the SP runs like mush-unless it merits gpu meltdown quality gfx, which going by the beta, it might, might just be.

More importantly, hopefully someone is telling them Manhattan is an island, not a floating city so rendering an ocean under the entire city all the time is somewhat wasting resources![]()

Thanks for backing my point up Greg. I don't know why people call others out for not being able to run games max settings when they haven't even used the card in question.

It may be due to recording, all i know is it looks exactly the same as it does if i set it to Very High + 4x MSAA on my 7870, perfectly smooth running in a straight line, as soon as i turn;... stutter...grind..bOing
If he's having problems getting it to run smooth while recording he should set the recording to run on an external Drive, and use FRAPS, which uses very little CPU and has a minimal hit on performance.
Fraps is a big performance killer mate, Dxtroy is the better recording software.

Even if he is Recording @30fps it dont matter because Youtube is locked @30fps
AMD got into bed with EA a few Months ago, Crysis3 is an EA title.
I would not be surprised if this happens more and more now, not just because of the AMD + EA thing but also because AMD are now in all 3 of the new Consoles.
Game Developers are going to start Optimising for GCN.
