it's still a long way off being a replacement.
Why... Does it actually work?

it's still a long way off being a replacement.

Thought I was back in 1995 when you said "Micro$oft" and "M$".
Tried disabling any addons?

IE is and always has been crap, never use it, there should be an uninstallation option on every version of windows for the junk.

IE is the download manager for a real browser. It serves no other useful purpose....

I bet Microsoft are really miffed that the first and only thing Googled through IE on a new machine is 'Google Chrome Download'
I am nearly 72 and I haven't used IE for as long as I can remember - Use Firefox on 32 bit PC and Cyberfox on 64 bit PC. - Come on old man fez up
Tries Chrome and couldn't get on with it.
Over the last couple of days IE seems to have slowed right down.
Other browsers seem just fine.
Has M$ crippled it to "Encourage" people to use Edge??
(I probably will in due course, but I resent being forced too)
(More to the point, how does one transfer ones "credentials" from IE to Edge?)
