You know how much a house cost these days compared to 10-15 years ago?
Rent is the same as a mortgage now if not more as interest rates are very low.

You need a dam sight more money for a deposit now, no thanks to 2008 citizen heist by the banks. :mad:

Its bloody hard for young people to buy a house now. :(

Yes it is and rent is high too.
This means you need to sacrifice more f your disposible income - Parties, clothes, holidays, cars etc. in order to move out.
Life's a bitch, but every young person is in the same boat. Either cry about it or realise sacrifices must be made.

YES houses cost more in relation to income than they ever have, BUT interest rates are so slow.
This means that the monthly cost of a mortgage is pretty much what it was back in the early 1990s.

Interest rates won't stay long for ever and you need to make sure you can afford the repayments when the rates rise.

He is respecting his parents and taking there advise, all he is saying is why does his father not understand that playing a game is no different to watching a movie. :rolleyes:

Why is he busting balls? Because his hard working son is working his backside off and saving for a house. Yet dad does not agree with 33 year old man playing games?? :confused:

I thought that was not true and just a made up story. I've never seen any evidence for him playing EVE. There are a few semi-famous people who play and one pretty famous person that I know of but no-one of that level. Would be cool though if he did - he'd probably fly a pimped Mach around lowsec called BMF. Comms would be awesome.
