Bad luck man. Ill be delidding mine this weekend. I reckon that if i can get the temps under control it wont be too bad a chip. Just in case delidding goes wrong, ive got the debit card on standby to buy another retail chip.My 4770k is an absolute dog. Need 1.25 to do 4.2 cant get it stable above that no matter what I do. Good job I spent big bucks on a Maximus VI Formula! Also core 1 seems to run 10C hotter than core 4 under load, the cooler (H110) is making good contact with the 'heat spreader'. What a load of rubbish.
My ancient 920 could clock higher than that.
have a look here Andy,
8 Pack helped me out and it may help you pal.

Bad luck man.
I've reached 4.5GHz on 1.2v. I was on 4.2GHz with '+0.1 offset' but Thu didn't really know what that meant so I did it like I did my i7 860 lol. Prime is giving me 84c on an h100i. So hows my chip?
