Hatton Fight

Completely agree. Hatton is rock solid. He has so much stamina and recovery ability that I can't see any fighter stopping him. He'll get counts no doubt but the 10 seconds breather he gets is all Ricky needs to keep going. I watched the fight again and as Ricky said, I felt it was the weight of the punches that moved him about, not the fact he was shot and ready to fall. As mentioned, if he did touch down, he's too strong not to get back up and carry on.

Edit:/ I scored it Hatton 114 - Collazo 113 so had the first round 10-8 not happened I'd have it as a draw.

Spinner the compubox stats dont mean a thing. Most judges still mark on the old fashioned scoring of aggression and style.

I think Ricky should be able to cope with the change fairly easily, its not as if he has to kill himself to get to 140 - Luckily he has a brilliant team around him that help with it all and Kerry Kayes is doing a superb job in shaping rick

I think Collazo had an akward style for Ricky, but also paired with a very under par performance from Ricky, it made it appear as if he will struggle at 147, but in all honesty, I still dont think he will. It will obviously be harder with bigger/tougher guys like Margarito, but IMO he wont struggle as long as he performs as he can

There is no way he will fight Margarito. Everyone is ducking him. De La Hoya, Mayweather etc.... But I believe Ricky has the perfect style to beat Mayweather. He has struggled with fights that go to the inside. Castillo was even more robbed than Collazo in his first fight against Mayweather.

Agreed, I dont believe Collazo was robbed in the slightest, He put up a really good fight, but having watched the fight twice more, I still had Ricky at 114-113 as he was the more agressive, active fighter.

Without the KD, it would have been a draw IMO, but it wasnt to be for him :p

Margarito is a myth. Every week he grows bigger and bigger and becomes more unbeatable reaching almost monster proportions. And because he is becoming an urban legend he is doing himself no favours meaning he will lose the chance of some mega fights.

Watch his fights against Daniel Santos to see how to beat him. Well the second fight beens the first one was over in a jiffy. :)
