It does. I guess he put it in there in a way that obstructed one of the spinny things. Or it was simply a coincidence.

A dishwasher doesnt know if its got plates in it, or a wheel.

Thats how I ended up with an 8800GTS for £5 back in the day.

It remains the only graphics card I've ever revived with a reflow.
