Often a lot of misery posted here, understandable as well given everything going on right now, however, despite all that, have you had a good day?

Got up, played Minecraft with my 6 year old son until about 11am, then had a cup of tea and some food, went out and tinted the window of my office room which I had been meaning to do for months and shoulf have done years ago. Upstairs south facing box room, wiith the windows and pc equipement on it gets like a Japanese sweat box in there, so hopefully it will make a difference. Did it from the outside so up a ladder, but wasnt too difficult really and pleased with it.

Then went to Tesco for the weekly shop, mowed the lawn, put my Chilli plants in the polytunnel, then chilled out in the garden listening to planet rock and having some beers and getting a sun tan and playing a bit of garden football with the kid.

In the evening I put some food on the BBQ, salad burgers, steak, and some posh sausages I found in Tesco.

Just about to put some music videos on yoube now.

The weather in this country is mostly ****, but man when its nice outside I reckon this countty is hard to beat.

Anyway, I have had a nice day. Hope you have had on to, its what life is all about you know.

Share please what you did if you have had a good day.

Cheers

I've had a great day. Woke up admittedly slightly too early by my little girl at 0500. Got the train into Brum at 0945 for breakfast and beers with the boys. Down to Northampton to watch the saints batter Gloucester, back to Brum for beers and food and now watching Tom Davis.

Banging day all round!

I took my daughters (3 & 8) to town for clothes shopping. Tiring and too hot for youngest to be walking around town. They behaved well enough, smallest cried more as she got more tired. Bus trips went well enough and not crowded.

Nice to see a positive thread :).

Had a lovely day. Up early for a nice bike ride, then took the kids to their swimming lesson, followed by a trip to the beach with the paddleboards and a picnic. Cut the grass and tidied the garden. Wife and I awarded ourselves with a Chinese this evening. Think tomorrow might be a bit more relaxed!

I was just sitting here with a post BBQ beer buzz on thinking what a good day today has been.

Out with the family earlier, took the kids to get their ears lowered and mine too whilst there. Bit of shopping, mostly BBQ food. Cleaned up the Q, cut the grass.

Patched up the boy's 3DS. Cooked up a storm on the BBQ, few beers on the porch with the neighbours and now tucking into a bottle of red with the wife.

Definitely right on the weather, glorious country when it's warm and green. Can't beat it.

Woke up still drunk and not hung over, cooked a huge fry up, fed the cat & chickens, sat in the garden and had enough coffee to drown a horse, then a few hours online gaming followed by a few beers at lunchtime, then watered the plants and veg garden and then watched a dubious action film with Jason Statham, then cooked a rotisserie chiicken on the BBQ, then opened another bottle of fizzy wine or two.
Easy to find fault in the world, but more time should be spent on the little things that make us happy.
Retirement can't come fast enough.

It hasn't been bad!

I went for a walk in the countryside and enjoyed the uncharacteristically nice weather, hit the gym for a couple of hours afterwards which was as satisfying for the AC as it was the exercise.

Visited with family after that, and I'm currently home watching The Ministry of Ungentlemanly Warfare, which is better than I expected it would be so far.

Watched it last night, heavily embellished but good fun all the same. SAS Rogue Heroes meets Man From Uncle (remake).

At a quick glance I thought you had fed the cat to the chickens.
