Have you had a good day?

The good day will end soon as I've just seen the wife is outside talking to her friend, who's she's been with since about 2.30. What on earth do they talk about for so long?

Lovely weather, lots of gardening done, lettuce, carrots and radishes are coming up, more seeds planted, definitely a good weekend

Yup, got that covered. Still can't see it though.

Great 48 hours.
Kayaking sunset Friday.
Aurora watching success Friday
7 mile walk over the mountains

All In 25+ temps.

Wish it lasted for months
SW France has everything you want. Beaches, mountains, lakes and best of all, house prices are very reasonable. Being a bit 'handy' is a bit of a must unless you have 500k, but isn't hard to score a 4 bed 200sqm with land for 200k.

You must have some weird parental controls or something on then as it's just a funny dog video lol and I am not following the profile either yet loads fine.

We moved to a pretty rural property in February, it has a woodland garden in excess of 500m long and we’re one hour from Hunstanton. Saturday we went with the (nearly 5yr old) grandson to the beach for a couple of hours in the morning. Spent the rest of the day pottering in the garden and enjoying Northampton Saints winning 90-0 at rugby

Sunday looking through some adverts for a second hand sit on mower and researching them. Watched the football playoff first leg and back pottering in the garden, chopping logs and fun time again with the grandson.

Might seem boring to some but for me it was a great weekend

As this was Saturday, well walked 10 miles for an onion via Jubilee rock and the moors , Camel trail ect, this enabled me to make my curry when I got back, drank numerous beers in the sun with the neighbour , mooched in the garden, continued to get **** faced on red wine followed by music vids through the Beyerdynamics alternating with Eurovision .

After working away from home since january, i've spent all day sat at home, tinkering with the pc and playing with the cats and watching the fish tank. Its been a great day, despite crippling sciatica

My weekend was great.

Out in the sun doing some weeding and planting. It's great not to have crippling neck pain at the moment.

Loads of animals were about in the sun, insects galore including many types of bee. Tawny mining bees ROOL. Watched some other mining bees doing their thing, so decided against weeding there.

Got stung by some weird (tiny) bee/ wasp. I was just sitting in a chair drinking beer and it went for me, the xxxx!

All in all, a good few days, and further proof I am not allergic to bee stings.

Washed car, cut grass rear and helped the council out by doing their bit on the front of the house. Took the boy for a bike ride and gave our border collie a well deserved groom to get rid of the rest of her winter coat.

Now a few left over Eurovision beers and some YouTube.

A work day, but not much to complain about really. Although I had a sudden dental appointment yesterday, I got an afternoon off and some free gaming time, so no complaints. Getting to an age where as long as we’re healthy and our family are still healthy then I’ll take it as a good day, despite life’s little grumbles.
