oh dear, only so I know what they are for, like laptop one or whatever I will only name projects, but I won't refer to it as (project name) in convos only as new rig or whatever

Mine is Lor's laptop. My phone is called Frankfurt though and my car is called Claire (the Clio).

My friend's old computer was called Cynthia, her laptop is Britney and her notebook is called Madonna!

Come to think of it, i did actually name my computer as SILVERSTONE, but i never refer to it as that. Perhaps i should start too, how rude of me.

I don't actually 'call' them anything but I do set the machine names after planetary bodies. e.g. the smaller machines such as laptops or ITX machines get named after moons like Callisto.

Mines called TimeMachine.

Not entirely sure why, it's what I use for everything that can have a "name", my Ipod and my phones bluetooth are the same.

My computers are "named" in a certain way...

Desktop: CreamEgg
Laptop: Milkybar
Old Seti machine: Crunchy (although it is no longer alive)...

However I don't ever call them by their names, just desktop and laptop, they're not alive!
