i've played against natasha Bedingfield on burnout a few years back, she beat me on the first race

I wonder if there is some online database somewhere that someone has compiled with famous XBL and PS3 ID's on it ... hmmmm ... just out of curiosity google time me thinks.

But also, how can all of you who have played online with someone "Famous" really know it is them, it has to be one of the easiest things in the world to fake and surely there is no way of knowing it actually is or isn't them.

Not exactly online, but played Jeff Minter at Ridge Racer on the DS at Retrovision 5 quite a few years ago (during the take-over of the curry house).

Also played (and beat) Julian Gollop at Lasersquad Nemesis.

Some people (Chris moyles) clearly announce themselves when they join a game over the mic. It was easy to tell it was him, he has quite a distinct voice.

At the time i was playing mw2 on a mates 360.

I'm sure quite a few people in the UK sound a bit like Chris Moyles to be honest, especially over the 360 headset, not saying it wasn't him by any means but I'm sure you know what I mean.

There's a reason other than vanity that many folk use stage names. My step bro is an actor, he's been in films, hosted childrens TV shows, been on the side of london busses

, ect.. He uses multiple aliases, one for work, others for day to day use so he can claim to be someone else and then his real name which is used only by direct family.

Worst thing about being "famous" is finding out that some fan's are mental and would follow you about given half the chance. They want to be your pal, not because of who you are but what you are..

They enjoy veg'in out like the rest of us but few in their right minds would blow their cover while trying to relax.

and I was once in the same wow guild on my alt as that Totalbiscuit wow radio fellow was in on his main. PC I know but I got confused!

I wonder if anyone has played against Dom Joly?
He's a big COD fan, hosted the premiere and also mentions in his Indepdent coloumn that he has raked up about 24 days playing COD4 online. I'm sure you would recognize his voice!

My Ex believed she was playing against Geri Halliwell on a game a few months back, I cant remember what game guitar hero or sing star probably. It was the fact she sounded like her and her name was something obvious too. Cant remember the specifics unfortunately

Garpy was in my cs clan a while ago, man even tho it wasnt his main game he pretty much owned it from the moment he started playing, i suppose if your aim is that good you can play anything at a good level quickly. i still got his msn might see hows hes doing.
