Have you run Winrar Cpu Bench Mark?

^^ Ten times faster then this wee single core beasty :p

I should hope so because this rig is fairly old now but not ancient, I only keep it because the motherboard has a cool name - ak89 :D

Was just trying to boost it slightly but apparently 250x9 is too much to ask, the memory can run that fast so what volts would be ok on the cpu. Anyone remember?

Some more magic numbers here from my last visit, I had 4200+ on my new i7 [email protected] @1.28volts (there abouts) setup just before the Asus p67 pro mobo decided to take a leave of absence back to supplier :(

But on another noise what about some Bulldozers coming in to make way for new numbers.... any takers?

Good to see the older hardware numbers, easily shows how far tech has progressed :)

5700+ on a 4.5Ghz i7. Not able to max out all threads though.

It's funny to look back at the early numbers when this thread was first posted. Those were the days! My Q6600 lasted me forever and is still going strong with it's second owner now :D

Sin chase,

I only gave up my Q6600 2 days ago, and I like change but never felt the need to upgrade until my psu popped then I had to consider the age of the old black box and upgraded to i7 2600k, only to loose the mobo within a few hours.
