having a bit of a pc gaming struggle!

Im sure we all do this but just find myself staring at my games list and not knowing what to commit time to, seem to just play something for a bit and stop!

At the moment ive started Dying Light, metro last light and Lords of the Fallen but havent really got hooked on either, should i give these more time? or maybe try again with gta online though i feel that would be better with friends?

I have heard positive things about both but not really seen it myself from what i have played! also really want a first person shooter to get hooked on but doesnt seem to happen

If you want to play a game where you can get into it quickly, then an idsoftware title is worth considering. Have you played the latest Wolfenstein games?

Hey thanks, yea i have played wolfenstein new order, it was fun but not really my type of thing so i didnt go for the recent expansion

I am going through the same at the moment.

I've had a quiet weekend so planned to get stuck into a game. It's now 4pm Sunday and I've yet to play anything after installing/uninstalling several games.

I want to get stuck into another mmo as they usually burn through time when it's quiet but none of them I want to play.

It sounds like FPS games aren't your thing. Have you tried Elite Dangerous? Or Galactic Civilisations 3?

Same mate. an MMO would be brilliant but i have tried to get into several and just cant get the same kick that WoW gave me back then. Gw2, FFXIV etc.

Unreal - single player (with mods)?

Shadow Warrior 2013?

Doom 3 + Absolute HD mod?

they are lol, well maybe not anymore though not sure. Yea got Elite when it launched and cant get in to it. retried recently but its all too vague and i just wasnt getting deep into it

i have heard positive things about Shadow Warrior and it seems there is a steam demo! downloading now thanks! Grimrock always looked good to me too!

tempted by farcry 4 but i have often heard its very much just more of Far cry 3. which is fine that was a great game bar its terrible story!

Terrible story aside, Vaas from Far Cry 3 was easily one of the most enjoyable enemies in recent gaming.

That Shadow Warrior looks good, didn't even realise there was a 2013 version until now!

Just found Insurgency as well, FPS military shooter which focuses on realism.

ive always been tempted by that shooter but wondered if it could be enjoyed online without a group.

just tried the shadow warrior demo, thanks to the guy above for suggesting it but that snot my cuppa unfortunalty. maybe having played the original it would be more worth while but it comes across as very corny and the voice actor is awful

You could try Strife (veteran version) on Steam. It's an old 1996 fps / rpg that's had a makeover. :cool:

Insurgency is great, well worth some time! I played alone most of the time, but the best games were playing with a squad that knew what they were doing.
