having a bit of a pc gaming struggle!

Try Marvel Heroes, it's an ARPG sort of Diabloesque with tons of content.

Mad Max is worth a shout, it's cheap as chips and great fun.

Failing those two if haven't already got it go grab Alien Isolation, it's the best SP game in the last 10+years !

Thanks for suggestions, was looking at max but kind of fed up of everything being open world these days!

Finished alien, had a brilliant first half but then just felt overly stretched out and padded imo, cant agree with it being the best game in the past 10 years but it certainly had brilliance about it

That's a great summary of my dilemma too!

'Open World' or sandbox games have always been my touchstone after I realised that I preferred 'Far Cry' to 'Half Life'. But that just seems to have dissolved into exploration and environment rather than enjoyment.

I don't want on-rails shooters, or even limited scenario shooters - but some story, involvement and basic game would be good...

Im sure we all do this but just find myself staring at my games list and not knowing what to commit time to, seem to just play something for a bit and stop!

At the moment ive started Dying Light, metro last light and Lords of the Fallen but havent really got hooked on either, should i give these more time? or maybe try again with gta online though i feel that would be better with friends?

I have heard positive things about both but not really seen it myself from what i have played! also really want a first person shooter to get hooked on but doesnt seem to happen :D

I have spells like this, I've been good this year and have completed around 7 games out of 250... including the 25 or so PS4 games I have.

The games you mentioned just would not spark enough interest for me, Fallout 4 will sort me out, and Football Manager 2016.
