So I installed the NVME and it worked fine this time. Managed to do a fresh install of windows on it. Just put in my new CPU and booted up. Seems to be working fine. Running Cinebench currently and max temp has been 62 Degrees.

Feeling so relieved it's all worked out. Felt like a disaster yesterday!

Not sure whether to put the 5080 in right now or just wait til tomorrow as I won't have time to play anything anyway

To be honest the size of the thing compared to my 1060 is daunting. There's a bracket you need to put in to hold it up which im unsure of right now

Mate I just put it in, connected the power cable and it doesn’t even start.

Can’t believe it

Had to leave so can’t try again til tomorrow morning but don’t understand what’s gone wrong.
