So, I'm trying to get my music off of my laptop that I'll shortly be selling onto an SSD.

SSD: Corsair Force 120GB
Bay: MSI StarStorage D01

For some reason I'm not able to find it as a "device with removable storage" and can't find a way to copy things onto it.. any ideas?

If you can see the USB SATA bridge device then it is working fine.

Right click MY COMPUTER, click MANAGE.
In the window that popped up choose the DISK MANAGEMENT field in the left pane.
This should list all of your drives.

Is the SSD in there?
Does it show as having a healthy primary partition?
Does it have a drive letter assigned to it?

If it is showing but just doesn't have a drive letter assigned then just right click on the drive panel or the partition panel just to the right of the drive panel and choose CHANGE DRIVE LETTER AND PATHS and give the drive a letter (not A or B, they are historically reserved for floppy drives.)

Hope this helps.
