Hawkeye TV show

Fell asleep watching the 2nd episode last night so I just finished it this morning. Not really enjoying Kate's character at the moment and Vera Farminga, well her character so far is a mess. I'll stick with it as I know these shows take their time to get into their stride....I also need something to replace Invasion.
 
In no hurry based off the reactions... maybe I’ll wait till they’re all out and catch up at some point.

Watched the first 3 eps of Blade Runner: Black Lotus instead, which is only okay so far (the look is a bit generic and retro, like a game cinematic from the 00’s and they haven’t quite got the BR aesthetic down) and Arcane which is probably the best adaptation of anything based off a game/the lore of a game ever.

Not to derail the thread, but do you need to be familiar with LOL to enjoy Arcane? I'm hearing great things about it!

No, I‘d only ever watched some of the cinematics on YouTube as the animation quality was stellar (used to do it when I was younger). Didn’t know anything about the lore, characters etc - didn’t have to either. It’s really, really good. Not because game adaption stuff has always either been dire to average and this clears that low bar, but really good full stop. Look at the Rotten Tomatoes score; it’s been out a while and it’s still sitting at 100% and that’s a mix of LoL fans and people new to it.

Only nitpick was I wasn’t a fan of some of the soundtrack (bit too ‘contemporary’ for the setting).

Wanda vision wins for being just so dam I have no idea what is going on for 5 episodes :) The Budgie and the winter soilder was just pants and i cant stand Mackie (he destroyed Alerted Carbon) Loki was just a mess but i am really liking Hawkeye its very tongue in cheek and doesn't take itself serious, great for Christmas TV :)
 
Watched 1st episode tonight, it seems ok and a bit light hearted, I didn't finish watching Loki as I fell asleep during a couple of episodes so thought it can't be that good if I can't stay awake.
 
I actually really enjoyed the latest episode. Decent fight, decent car chase (And loved how it ended :D) and a couple of funny bits (the one on the subway) and endearing moments (Clint not being able to hear his son on the phone and Kate writing down what he was saying.

And Pizza Dog, don't forget him. Wonder if they'll do an episode from his perspective, like they did with the comics?
