Hay Fever

Everyone seems to be on the pills, am I the only one who prefers nasal spray?

I use both daily. Does this make me some sort of anti allergy junkie? I still get mega-itching-eye-death, it's terrible. I get it worst at work for some reason, even thouh I'm inside an air conditioned building.

My folks have always said not to take so much claras a day, so I guess it does have some side effects ? I try and take it mon-fri only cos if I dont and goto work ill actually die but weekends I dont bother... but can feel it there :(

Think ill try and cut down or goto half a clara at least...

Benadrill/Claratyn in combination with Opticrom eye drops, ive been symptom free most of today, if I get a clogged nose, I just take Sudafed, but yesterday I looked and felt horrid... spoiled the England game for me

Mine has been OK so far this year but it kicked in yesterday evening, urgh.

Pretty much what happened to me. After niggling for week or so, kicked in Chuck Norris styleee on Thursday/Friday. Spent all of today with eyes like hot air balloons and itching, sneezing, just generally feeling rubbish. Been taking the ah's in preparation for this for weeks too. Need to get a nasal spray that usual works well for me, but can't use most eyedrops as I have lenses :(

And anyone who laughs at hayfever, or those who have it deserves to be locked in a room with Paul Daniels and his 'lovely wife' Debbie McGee singing - for eternity!

I take beconase every morning and evening. If i need to another antihistamine (pill). Stay indoors in the morning and evening and have showers in both too. I have barely noticed it other than a bit of a sniffle and cough. (Eyes have itched a bit today though :().

Hey, just found this thread. I get Hayfever really bad and have been taking Piriton to try and counter it. But one pill makes no difference so I've been taking two at a time sometimes depending on how bad I am, and other times taking one then another before the recommended time..

How bad is it for me? :(

I dunno about piriton, but I was told by a drug rep that you can take up to 16 loratadine tablets a day lol

Officially it's 1 though!!
