Hazro + Nvidia GPUs....

Mine didn't work, just said Windows has determined your current driver Generic PnP is more up to date"

Win 7 x64

Clav, it sounds like you have windows looking automatically for drivers for you, and comparing driver dates etc?

Follow my steps in my previous post again, but when installing your driver, Select the manual method of looking for a driver, namely "BROWSE MY COMPUTER FOR DRIVER SOFTWARE" not the "search automatically...." one. If you've done it right, windows will flag up warning asking if you are sure you want to install your new inf file.

You may have tried this though... I don't know... but thought I'd flag it up :) I use Windows 7 x64 also.

Tell us how you got on!

I did manually point it at the folder with the inf and dat files in it and that's what it said. Not a huge issue as I've not got any problems with the monitor. I just want it to say Hazro instead of Syncmaster.

Not working for me, getting an error. Windows 8

The third-party INF does not contain digital signature information.

How do you force it to install the inf?

Ok thanks a lot for this thread.

Problem for me is, the EDID link from Kanex is down and I can't find it via Google.
The tool won't let me load the EDID in Windows 8.1, not sure why...

So can someone give me / mail me / link me the correct .inf file or the not modified .inf file?
And maybe a link to the EDID somewhere?

I can't set it to 1080p in Arma 3, really ****ing me off.

Also, this is really really bad customer support by Hazro. I will NOT be buying a monitor from them again although I am happy with the display performance itself.

Would be awesome if we had a modified driver which forced 75hz or even 85hz as the default refresh.

You can force it using the nvidia control panel but games always end up using 60hz regardless. :(
