HD-DVD Arrive - Small Problem: Adv Required

Hey guys,

My HD-DVD drive turned up from ebay today, however slight problem is there is no King Kong HD-DVD :( It states sealed in the description but the circular sticker on the side of the xbox packaging has obviously been re-applied and inside is everything bar King Kong, it has the holder for it (on the top part of the box)

I'm gonna email the seller this...

Hi there, got the item today - however there is a small problem, there is NO king kong HD-DVD which the item description states, it was also not sealed, it had obviously been opened and had the circular sticker re-applied on the outside of the box - im guessing to remove the HDDVD.

I have never given negative feedback however unless you can send me the King Kong HDDVD or refund part of the cost, im afraid i will have to.

Im sure it was a genuine mistake, however you clearly advertised it would include the HDDVD.

No, I would go with that. No point in pussy-footing around when it comes to money and business.
 
I think your mail looks right, I think you should perhaps remove the link and references to the famous auction site and if you leave a negative....../edit/Done :)

19k feedback score @ 99.9% won't be affected.

I would still try and get some form of compensation as it isn't as described.

It's fine.

I got my HD-DVD drive aswel today, luckily it was sealed with King Kong in there. I hear that the more recent HD-DVD drives do not come with King Kong it will just be the drive and remote, but if it seems to you like its been opened and re-sealed, then it probably has been removed.

Already waited over a month :)

Plus its my xmas present to myself, i worked 12 hours xmas day @ triple pay and my wage has gone up 3k as of Jan :D so its all gravy
 
im not fussed the thing wasnt completely sealed, i mean everything inside was, the actualy drive etc.. - its just been opened purely to get the DVD lol
