Don't get me started on the whole value-for-money thing!
I've only managed to afford 2 or 3 titles on HD and the same for BR.
Every HD title is just as good in terms of picture quality, but has tons of extras (usually in HiDef) whereas my BRs have virtually no extras. What a rip. They could at least throw in a second disc for the extras, considering the high price premium we have to pay.
I was going to fork out for the original Die Hard the other day, when I noticed the distinct lack of extras. "No thanks" I thought, "I'll stick with my old perfectly acceptable 2-disc DVD set."
This can't just happen to be the case by chance with my choice of titles...
So if HD-DVD titles do come down in price, so be it. Maybe by the time my HD-DVD drive dies, BR will have become better value for the average consumer.
