Hi, first post on here! I am after a 500g SATA hd. Can someone recommend a reliable and quiet one please?

Nice and quick and also quiet.

I love my 250Gb model, plus they have a 5 year warranty just incase.

Seagate are a very good make - and the barracuda range are pretty quick too...

The WD-AAKS drives come very well reviewed and operate quieter than the Seagates.
