HD595

Someone who owned both decribed the DR150 as being more aggressive, and having more weight to the sound. The HD595 sounds cleaner and is less congested, but the DR150 has a fuller sound signature.

i have the goldring dr150 and both my brothers have hd595's. I have tried the hd595 in my pc and the sound quality is definitly different and to me a lot better. The sound stage on the hd595's is just so much wider and the sound is so intricate and precise, also they are also more comfortable imo. Saying that i do love my dr150's and are the best £30 ever, i would not pay £60 for a pair though.

Thanks, sounds like the 595's do give a nice sound, in fact it sounds like the 595 sound similar to 580's, which have a lovely wide soundstage.
