Hi,
My old 1tb Seagate Barracuda (ST31000S28AS) looks like it's about to die - keep getting Windows 10 error messages about it, although not really experienced any problems with it yet. Everytime it boots up in BIOS there is a SMART bad / replace error.

I'm looking for a 2tb SATA drive for PC use, used probably for storing torrents as my c: drive is an SSD. Potentially looking at the below:

toshiba 2tb

Seagate 2TB

WD Green 2tb

WD Red 2tb

Favouring the Toshiba due to being slightly cheaper at the moment, but is there any difference difference between the brands? There was another Seagate drive on OCUK but it had a suspiciously short 1 year warranty on it.

I can't comment on Seagate or Toshiba but I have had a great RMA experience with WD for 2 drives. I don't even think they actually checked them as I got a tracking number for replacement drives as soon as the old ones were received.
