i want to clone my c: drive which is currently a 200GB, i would like to clone it to a 250GB drive.

my question is, once cloned will the new disk also be 200gb (wasted 50gb)?

if so is there a way to recover it?

thanks

No idea about Ghost. Worst case is it won't in which case Gparted will let you extend the partition into the unused space.

ok thanks i will give it a go.

great photos by the way!

Ghost works in either direction. For instance:

A. Clone 128GB HD (that contains 56GB of data) to 256GB HD drive and when you boot from the 256GB HD you see the complete drive.

B. Clone 500GB HD (that also contains 56GB of data) to 320GB HD, and when you boot it you still see the complete drive.

There is no wasted space.
